Company History (Est. 1989)

In 1976, Earl Powell, Jr. graduated from Corvallis High School and was working for the local Beaver RV Repair facility (Corvallis, OR) as an RV technician. That same year, he joined the Oregon National Guard Reserves, eventually transferring into the U.S. Army Reserves in 1982. Later, in 1985 (when the original owners of Beaver RV sold) he moved with them to their new venture, Ammonia Technology Corporation (ATCO), to manage their rebuild center for RV refrigerator cooling units. In Nov. 1988, ATCO was sold and it was then that Earl decided to branch off on his own and by Feb. 1989, he and his wife opened the doors of Oregon RV Appliance Repair on their home property in Tangent, OR. Ten years later (1999), Earl retired from the U.S. Army Reserves (Drill Sergeant) after 22-years of service where he’s continued to grow and operate the RV business with his family throughout.

Oregon RV Appliance Repair is owned and operated by Earl and his wife Maurine (aka: Reni), and their four wonderful adult children (sons EJ and Jared, and daughter-in-laws Baleigh and Megan) are all off enjoying life, while building their families and careers.

We might be small, but when it comes to RV’s, we’re big on experience to make sure we do it right the first time.
